The article- video says it all – as does the headline. A point of interest current parents may not know; the first High School Dance Marathon for Children’s Miracle Network was hosted at Leon High School in a joint venture with Maclay School in 2015.
Inaugurated by best friends growing up, Elyse Thompson, Leon High School & Anne Marshall Criser, Maclay School.
The inaugural year, the Leon/Maclay Dance Marathon raised $14,073.00 – today multiple area High Schools in Leon County host DM at their schools and have raised over $200,000, annually, for the Children’s Miracle Network and Tallahassee Memorial Hospital pediatric care. Way to go Leon High School!
